FIND YOUR MAC ADDRESS
Select which type of device you are trying to locate the MAC Address on:
Television
Apple TV
- To figure out the MAC address of your Apple TV, start at the main menu.
- Select Settings, then select About.
- Scroll down and look for Wireless ID or Ethernet ID, depending on the connection you are using.
- You can also find these values on the UPC sticker on your Apple TV
Google Chromecast
- Start by opening the Chromecast app on your computer.
- If your computer is already connected to your Chromcast, click on the settings button.
- The MAC address will be in the lower left corner of the settings page.
- If your computer is not connected to your Chromecast, go through the setup screens.
- The setup page where you choose the wireless network will contain the MAC address in the lower left corner.
- Please note, that after you add the MAC address of your Chromecast to your account, you will need to power cycle your Chromecast and re-open the Chromecast app.
Amazon Fire/TV Stick
- From the Home screen, scroll down, click on Settings.
- Scroll right, click on System.
- Click on the About option.
- Arrow to Network, the MAC address will be listed on this page.
Roku Player
- From the Home screen, select Settings.
- Next select Player Info, the MAC address will be listed on this page.
- This information is also listed on the back of your Roku player.
Computer
Windows
- Click on the search bar of your computer Search for Command Prompt and open the application
- Type in “ipconfig /all” and press enter
- Look for the heading “Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi:”
- Your MAC address will be listed under here as Physical Address.
Mac
- Go to the Apple menu and select System Settings.
- Click on the Network icon.
- On the left side, click once on Wi-Fi to select it.
- On the right side, nearer to the bottom, click on the Advanced button.
- On the window that appears, look for Wi-Fi Address near the bottom. The Wi-Fi Address is your mac address.
- Click on Cancel. Close the window by click on the red dot in the upper left corner of the window.
Mobile Device
Android
- Navigate to the Home screen and press Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down and tap About phone.
- Tap Status.
- Scroll down to view the Wi-Fi MAC address.
Apple/ IOS
- To find the MAC address of your iOS device navigate to the Home screen.
- Select Settings, General, and then About.
- Scroll down and look for Wi-Fi Address, that is the MAC address.
Gaming Console
Xbox One
- From the main Xbox One homepage, select My Games & Apps.
- Select Settings.
- Select Network.
- Select Advanced Settings.
- Your MAC address will be listed on this page.
Xbox 360
- Select My Xbox.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Network Settings.
- Select Configure Network.
- Select Advanced Settings from the Additional Settings tab.
- Select Alternate MAC Address.
- Your MAC address will be listed on this page.
Playstation 5
- Start up your PlayStation 5 without a disk in the drive.
- On the home screen, click on the settings icon (gear) in the top-right corner.
- Select “System”.
- Under System Software, select Console Information.
- You will see the MAC addresses for LAN (Ethernet) and Wi-Fi.
Playstation 4
- Select Settings.
- Select System.
- Select System Information.
- Your MAC address will be listed on this page.
Nintendo Switch
- Select “System Settings” from the HOME Menu.
- Scroll down through the menu and select “Internet.”
- The Nintendo Switch console’s MAC address will be listed under “System MAC Address.”.
3DSXL, 3DS, 2DS
- Select System Settings.
- Select Internet Settings.
- Select Other Information.
- Select Confirm MAC address.
- Your MAC address will be listed on this page.
